Solidary
Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family’s economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. We are the creators of the washable rug concept. This rug is machine washable at home, keeping it flawless wash after wash. They’re ideal for everyday use, for homes with children and pets, as they allow you to easily remove any stain just by putting them in the washing machine. Making life easier!

Washing and Care Instruction:
- Wash separatetly at 30º maximum
- Do not use bleach or fabric softeners
- Use a gentle cycle if your rug has braids or fringes
- We recommend using our special sustainable soap
- We recommend using our dryer balls to ensure a longer lifespan
- Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave the rug in the washer
- Avoid continuous exposure to the sun
- If you find a long thread cut it with scissors. Never pull it
- Use a low powered vacuum cleaner regularly
- Clean spots & absorbs liquids.
